Jennifer Chaney and her entire team were AMAZING throughout the entire process. Our home was on the market for 100 days when we decided to switch realtors. We took her advice on changes, let her stage the property and we had more showing in that first week listed with her than we did in our first 100 days! On the purchase of our new home, we were entering a very competitive market but still did not want to pay the asking price. Whenever we saw a Chaney Homes sign in front of a house, a short time later the home was sold. When we were ready to sell, there was no other choice but Chaney Homes. Jennifer Chaney and her team were tremendous to work with for the sale of our home. She is a full service broker that provided assistance with everything from staging our property to working with our buyers to secure the transaction. She is very knowledgeable of the local real estate market. Her communication skills and positive attitude are her strengths. Having been involved in numerous real estate transactions, Jen is by far the most professional and business savvy agent I have worked with.
We interviewed several different local realtors before choosing Jennifer…all of them with great ratings. We had also seen all of her reviews and knew her numbers were at the top. To be honest, we were a bit concerned about her ability to handle our sale due to having so many other “irons in the fire”…those concerns quickly disappeared.
When she arrived at our house for the first time, she was more prepared than anyone else we had ever seen for any of the properties we had bought and sold over the years…not just this property. She had clearly been putting a lot of time and research into her presentation. We knew right away that this wasn’t just pulling some numbers out of the air and hoping they sell. Or even worse…pulling out a low number so the property sells quickly. Everything was done by design and had the research to back it up.
Her staging crew arrived and was great. Minimal distraction to our family(which includes 2 small kids and a dog) and were great in understanding that we still had to live there even though the house was staged. Not only that, but the guys actually gave me a hand putting some things into our storage unit…great crew.
When the house finally hit the market, we immediately had numerous showings. She has her marketing/advertising strategy that clearly works well. She also had an open house scheduled within a few days of the house going on the market that went really well. The icing on the cake is that we had a near full list offer and were under contract…within 1 week of the house being on the market.
In my opinion, this is where Jennifer really shines. Once the house went under contract, she was on top of everything. I never once had to worry about paperwork being done, phone calls or notifications to whoever being made, arrangements for settlement, etc. She took care of everything! I never once had to chase her down to get something…she had it all covered. I so wish we could have used her as our buyers agent but we moved to New England so no luck there. All I can say she was fantastic. Settlement went smooth and we were in and out of there in 20 minutes…we could not have been happier.
It is a rare thing for me to write a review but I truly believe she is the best realtor we have ever had the opportunity to work with. She has definitely raised the bar and is the standard now that we will measure any other realtors that we use in the future. If you re looking for a realtor, give her the chance…you won’t be disappointed.
